What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in time is 4:00 PM (or any time after) and check-out time is 12:00 PM.
Is it true that KIDS STAY FREE?
ABSOLUTELY! Kids 16 and under stay FREE!
Do you really offer meals for kids for only $2.99?
YES! All kids 10 and under can eat starting from $2.99 and up anytime at Denny's Restaurant located on-site!
Do you offer any discounts on your packages such as AAA/CAA?
Unfortunately, all of our packages have already been deeply discounted and thus not allowing for any further discounts to be applied.
Do you have on-site parking?
A Parking Fee of $15 Canadian per night per vehicle plus applicable taxes applies. There is a limit of one (1) vehicle per registered guest room. Extra vehicles may be registered to your room based on availability determined by occupancy levels, and may incur a fee of $20 Canadian per vehicle per night plus applicable taxes based upon availability and at the discretion of management. Larger vehicles or trailers in tow that occupy more than one parking space will incur additional charges. You must inform the clerk at check-in of any large vehicle or trailer in tow.
Do you offer cots or cribs?
Cots and cribs are available on a request basis. Cots are a charge of $10.00 Canadian per night and cribs are available complimentary. (Subject to availability).
Do you have any on-site restaurants?
Our Denny's restaurant offers a casual dining atmosphere and moderately priced meals and breakfast favourites served 24 hours a day and is home to the world-famous Grand Slam Breakfast. The lunch and dinner menu are increasing in popularity with a variety of burgers, sandwiches, steaks, fish, salads and other entrees including low-fat offerings for our health conscious guests. Also offered on-site are our very own Pizza Hut & KFC Express and a Baskin Robbins which are located just off the main hotel lobby at street level.
Are pets allowed at your property?
No, we do not accept any types of pets other than service animals with supporting documentation.
Will my credit card be charged when I make my reservation?
Room charges will be posted to your credit card 48 hours prior to your arrival date. Pre-paid reservation offers which are non-cancelable will be processed immediately upon the completion of your reservation.
What is your policy on cash paying guests?
All cash paying guests will be required to have a valid credit card to make a reservation at which time upon arrival to the hotel you will be required to leave a $150.00 cash security deposit in addition to the room charges for your expected stay. All cash paying guest rooms automatically have telephone and all in-room services turned off to ensure that the security deposit remains intact.
What is the cancellation policy?
Any cancellations or changes to an existing reservation must be made 72 hours / 4 PM prior to your arrival date to avoid a charge of one night's room charge, taxes and fees. Please note that this standard policy does not apply to Pre-Paid non cancelable type reservations.
How do I cancel my reservation if necessary?
You must always cancel your reservation through the same booking channel or third-party website in which you originally made the reservation to ensure a proper cancellation and to avoid any cancellation fees or penalties.
Can I change or cancel my reservation through www.hojobythefalls.com?
Unfortunately, you are unable to change or cancel any reservations on-line as this must be done directly thru one of our hotel representatives. Please contact the Hotel directly at 905-357-4040.
Do you have smoking rooms?
All Canadian Howard Johnson properties and all their guest rooms are 100% non-smoking. However, this hotel offers a limited number of Traditional Queen Guest Rooms equipped with very spacious balconies in which you may smoke outside.
Do you have a pool and exercise facility?
The property features both an indoor heated pool with smaller water slide, hot tub and sauna and a seasonal outdoor heated pool with spacious sundeck and is open from 8 AM until 11 PM daily. However, we do allocate 10 pm to 11 pm as adult swim time whereas individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted in the pool area during this time. There is also a fully equipped fitness center open from 7 AM until 11 PM daily. All Howard Johnson guests may use the pool and exercise facilities at no additional charge.
Do your guest rooms have fridges or microwaves?
All guest rooms offer fridges as well as microwaves.

Can I receive rates and availability quotes via e-mail?
Rates and availability information cannot be given via e-mail. For information please contact the reservations office at

Can you send me a brochure on the hotel?
Since we are a certified green hotel property we no longer print or provide paper brochures as we suggest obtaining information about the property directly on this website.
