Things really brighten up at night when the magical colours of the Winter Festival of Lights illuminate the trees and displays, augmented by the falls themselves which are lit up most nights year-round. Queen Victoria Park is located at the foot of Clifton Hill and has a lovely display of plants that bring that long awaited splash of colour that symbolizes Spring has sprung. Brilliant yellows and white daffodils, vibrant red tulips, and soft pink Magnolia trees line the Niagara Parkway. There are rock gardens, expansive lawns and a Tea Rose garden.
