Where is the Howard Johnson Hotel by the Falls Located?                          
The Howard Johnson Hotel Niagara Falls is located just 1 block from the Falls, Casino Niagara and Clifton Hill, situated on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. Our street address is 5905 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada L2G-3L8.

What time is check-in and check-out?                                                            
Check-in time is 4:00 PM (or anytime after) and check-out is 12:00 PM.

Is it true that KIDS STAY FREE?                                                                     
ABSOLUTELY! Kids 16 and under stay FREE!

Do you really offer meals for kids for only $1.99?                                       
YES! All kids 12 and under eat for $1.99 at Denny's Restaurant located onsite!

Do you offer any discounts on your packages such as AAA/CAA?              
Unfortunately all of our packages have already been deeply discounted and thus not allowing for any further discounts to be applied.


Do you offer a shuttle service to the Falls or Casino?
                                   
Shuttle service runs daily from 10 AM through 2 AM.  Stops include the brink of the Horseshoe Falls, Casino Niagara, Fallsview Casino and the IMAX theater.  Drops off and picks up from our hotel are every 30 minutes.  A charge of $7.95 Canadian per person will apply and is valid for the duration of your entire stay.  Complimentary if guest is staying on a package.

Do you have on-site parking?                                                                         
The property offers plenty of both above ground or underground secure on-site parking for your safety and convenience.  A charge of $8.00 Canadian per vehicle per day will apply.

Do you offer cots or cribs?                                                                               
Cots and cribs/playpens are available on a request basis. Cots are a charge of $10.00 Canadian per evening and cribs are available complimentary.  Subject to availability.

Do you have an On Site Restaurant?                                                              
Our Denny's restaurant offers a casual dining atmosphere and moderately priced meals and breakfast favorites served 24 hours a day and is home to the world famous Grand Slam Breakfast.  The lunch and dinner menu are increasing in popularity with a variety of burgers, sandwiches, steaks, fish, salads and other entrees including low-fat offerings for our health conscious guests.  Also offered on-site are our very own Pizza Hut & KFC Express and a Baskin Robbins which are located just off the main hotel lobby at street level.

Are pets allowed at your property?                                                                
We offer a limited amount of designated pet friendly guest rooms. 
You must notify the hotel prior to arrival if you plan on bringing a pet on
property.  Please see our Hotel Pet Policy for all details. 
Please Note: Balcony rooms are not available as pet friendly rooms.

Will my credit card be charged when I make my reservation?                     
Charges will not be posted to your credit card until your scheduled check-out time from the hotel or in the event of a failure to cancel your reservation in the allowed period. 

What is your policy on cash paying guests?                                                   

All cash paying guests will be required to have a valid credit card to make a reservation at which time upon arrival to the hotel you will be required to leave a $100.00 cash security deposit in addition to the room charges for your expected stay.  All cash paying guest rooms automatically have telephone and all in room services turned off to ensure that the security deposit remains in tact. 

What is the cancellation policy?                                                                      
 
Any cancellations or changes to an existing reservation must be made 
48 hours / 4 PM prior to your arrival date to avoid a charge of one night's
room charge.  Please note there is a 72 hour cancellation policy for Dec 30 & 31

How do I cancel my reservation if necessary?                                                
You must always cancel your reservation thru the same booking channel in which you originally made the reservation to ensure proper cancellation.

Can I change or cancel my reservation through www.hojobythefalls.com? 
Unfortunately, you are unable to change or cancel your reservations on line.

Do you have smoking rooms?                                                                          
All Canadian Howard Johnson properties and their guest rooms are
100% non smoking.  However this hotel offers a limited number of Traditional
Queen Guest rooms equipped with balconies in which you may smoke outside. 

Do you have a pool and exercise facility?                                                        
The Howard Johnson Hotel by the Falls features both an indoor heated pool with water slide, hot tub and sauna and a seasonal outdoor heated pool with spacious sun deck and is open from 8 AM until 11 PM daily.  There is also a fully equipped fitness center open from 7 AM until 11 PM daily.  All Howard Johnson guests may use the pool and exercise area at no additional charge.

Do your guest rooms have fridges or microwaves?                                        
Our guest rooms are not equipped with fridges or microwaves, however may be requested for a fee of $10.00 Canadian per day. Subject to availability at time of check-in.

How do I contact a guest at the hotel?                                                            
A guest may only be reached through the hotel switchboard at 905-357-4040. 

Can I receive rates and availability quotes via e-mail?                                 
Rates and availability information can not be given via e-mail.  For information please contact the reservations office at 1-800-565-4656, or access the web site under the category room rates.

Can you send me a brochure on the hotel?
